Perception is Subjective. Truth is Not.

by

the-dressThe past couple of days the world has been divided over a seemingly insignificant issue – the dress.  A Scottish girl posted the photo of the garment on Tumblr because it was meant to be worn for a wedding and all her friends were disagreeing over the colors.  Everyone was vehemently convinced what they were seeing was the truth, so the dress quickly went viral.  All day I was seeing it in two different color combinations, so I thought there were two different pictures. Then I took a screenshot of it in one color, but when I looked at it later it was another.  At this point I assumed it was an animated gif that was changing somehow, even though you can’t screenshot animation. When I showed it to Pierre later that evening, we had a full on disagreement about what color it was. We were both looking at the same exact picture at the same exact time.  I thought he was joking. A Heartfelt Tribute to Mr. John Paul Jackson 1950-2015

by

My husband prayed for a prophetic wife. I was raised in a home where the prophetic was a way of life, but I didn’t know it was anything more than a fluke; a feeling, an intuition, a “knowing” that happened every now and then when you least expected it.  The first thing my husband did when we started dating was take me to a John Paul Jackson class – The Art of Hearing God – and it changed my life forever.
