I asked my husband to do a Marriage Q&A video with me and used social media to get questions for us to answer. We waited until the kiddos were in bed and started recording. The whole thing seemed to go off without a hitch, until I checked the camera and saw that it wasn’t recording. I reviewed the footage to find that it had stopped less than a third of the way through. Now we had to answer the questions all over again. This time I stopped to check after a couple questions, and saw that again my camera had stopped recording – the card was full. So by the time we actually got through all the questions we had answered them several times (never as good as the first time, of course) and were pretty delirious. Then I pulled an all nighter editing. My program crashed (of course). YouTube took about two hours to process the video and post it (usually takes minutes). In the midst of all this my speakers stopped working. Finally after watching the video and getting several views, I got annoyed with listening to the same background song for 11+ minutes and re-did the entire video again. When YouTube attempted to queue my video and take another 2hrs to post the new one, I gave up and left the original instead. The new video was cool…just take my word for it.
The moral of my story? I don’t know, I’m delirious. But I’m sure there’s some deep lesson about marriage somewhere in there. If you find it, let me know. In the meantime, I need a nap!
